About Us

Established in 2003, the CoffeeHound Bookshop is the destination for new and used books, coffee, and conversation in Franklin County. Owner and operator Millie Cannon opened the CoffeeHound Bookshop to provide folks with a relaxed atmosphere to meet a friend, talk over coffee, and find a really great book. 

We are located in the heart of downtown Louisburg just around the corner from the Franklin County courthouse. We offer wireless internet, meeting space for small groups, as well as occasional book readings and signings. 

The CoffeeHound Bookshop has strong, fresh coffee as well as hand-crafted espresso drinks available daily.  Check out our menu page for all of the available drinks.
